Rockland Sunrise
From the breakwater. While at the annual Maine HR Convention, I always take an interlude to walk the breakwater. It’s 3/4 of a mile long. Usually walked in the afternoon, along with a steady stream of random companions. This year, I wanted a different experience. So I got up at 4:45 AM for sunrise. For the next hour, I had solitude for sunrise.

And then the sunrises
All darkness remembered.

The dawning of a new day takes on a whole new perception from your captured image.
But one sun,
but one sunrise,
but one moment,
but one chance,
To seek,
to be,
to challenge,
to see,
Life through a fresh pair of eyes.

Geuss I could follow up with another favorite sunrise over and for America. Greeting the dawn from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park.
