Rockland Sunrise

Rockland Sunrise , originally uploaded by Zeus Ocean Storm.

From the breakwater. While at the annual Maine HR Convention, I always take an interlude to walk the breakwater. It’s 3/4 of a mile long. Usually walked in the afternoon, along with a steady stream of random companions. This year, I wanted a different experience. So I got up at 4:45 AM for sunrise. For the next hour, I had solitude for sunrise.

  1. And then the sunrises
    All darkness remembered.

  2. Breathtaking…

  3. Putting that new gear to good use eh? Most excellent image.

  4. Jill – yes, amongst other shots of nearly equal beauty.

jdp – getting used to the new gear ;)

  5. The dawning of a new day takes on a whole new perception from your captured image.

    But one sun,
    but one sunrise,
    but one moment,
    but one chance,
    To seek,
    to be,
    to challenge,
    to see,

Life through a fresh pair of eyes.

  6. Geuss I could follow up with another favorite sunrise over and for America. Greeting the dawn from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park.
