Doe & Fawn
At eight o’clock this morning, I was sitting here in my study, researching a 2010 project. Just to left of this monitor, I looked down to see this fawn & doe feasting on drops from the forest apple tree. Grabbing my camera, I dashed downstairs to get a few photographs.
At first, the camera remained on point and shoot – aka Programmed mode. Due to the back lighting, the picture was wiped and washed out. Not to mention the slower shooter speed made sharp focusing somewhere between difficult and nearly impossible. Switching over to manual, I was able to speed up the shutter speed enough to sharpen the focus and eliminate the washing out.
I always wonder, how often do the deer come by and no one sees them. It was a good start to this day.
