I have enough books and too many of the them that I will not most likely read again. The book shelf is burgeoning with those I know I will keep forever and those that will never be read again.
Books retained will include my Harvard Classics – the five-foot shelf of books. My Ayn Rand paperbacks. And a few others.
Don’t get me wrong. Every book read, every idea consumed, continues to either pry open my mind or confirm my mentality.
But not every book needs to be retained. It’s time for some to go. Other ideas await and beckon.
