First & last light photography has been challenging. The first two sunrises have been impacted by low tide. The sky does not reflect off of mud. First sunset was over a grassy marsh.
Then there are the clouds. Cloudless sunrises are brief & done. The light never develops to rich fullness. Thick clouds at the horizon also block the sunset from good development.
First sunrise was saved by the telephoto
First sunset never hit good potential. Best picture was the sky reflecting off of a rising tide.
Second sunrise. I overslept the dawn light & got up in time for the sunrise. The upper layers had the color & texture. The lower layer was thick & dull
Second sunset will be on the water from the good schooner Bay Lady II out of Provincetown. Right now the sunset is an hour a way. There are clouds in the west. Time will tell.
