Fifteen Degrees

Daylight saving time has ended.

Once again, we are back on natural time.

Daylight saving time is unnatural as it further removes us from awareness of nature’s natural rhythms.

Today’s sunrise is at 6:28 AM. Sunset is at 4:32 PM. The length of daylight is 10 hours 4 minutes.  That is for here, not there where ever you may be. This time is reported by my Virtual Weather Station system and is fully customized to this specific latitude and longitude. Your time will vary accordingly.  This data is available on the internet at wunderground.com, click the astronomy link in the upper right hand corner of the Thor’s Hill station data.   Go to TimeandDate.com for a customizable calendar and more useful information about the sky’s natural rhythms.

Connect with nature by flowing with the seasons and the awareness that the sky is always there. With your feet firmly grounded, look up to seek understanding.

Summer ended on September 23, 2012 @ 10:49 AM EDT. Now is Autumn. The leaves have turned and are falling.  The temperatures are also gliding downward towards Winter.  Winter begins on December 21, 2012 @ 6:12 AM.  Know, acknowledge and celebrate the solstices and equinoxes with your enlightened awareness.

Federal law mandates that the daylight saving time change occurs at 2 AM.  What were you doing this morning at 2 AM.  I’m pretty sure I was sleeping then.

Now would be a good time to reset your sundial by fifteen degrees – back towards nature’s normal position.
