Some pictures sold, others didn’t, and some never will. What sells is our story, not mine, but the ones we share. Writing with light is like writing with words. Both need to create both direct & vicarious experiences.

Next time, display the picture in the manner as to which they should be displayed. On walls, not in boxes. True to form, most purchases will be deferred to nearly the lowest value-added price point. White matting is too generic. Black is more elegant, dramatic, photogenic. And put more of my catalogue on the iPad.

Oh, and shopping bags.
