Like A Good Neighbor

Don’t leave a fellow blogger alone in the cold.

Even if it is minus three point six and falling right now.

Today’s assignment: leave comments on at least four blogs that you’ve never commented on before.

Found in reader, while searching Human Resources:  Peril of Pages on Library Lost & Found.

Even if you do everything right, you can still be wrong in hiring people. The best you can hope for is to minimize the mistakes. No one really ever shares their real self in a job application or an interview. Think of interviewing as going on a really questionable blind date.

Now read it to see what I said. <once moderated>

Behind the Shelves Vacation Reading: on That Worn Book Smell.

What books would you bring on vacation? What was the last book you read on vacation? Do you also spend inordinate amounts of time choosing the perfect travel book(s)?

One of the last books I read on vacation was Sorceress Rising by Evan Michael Martin. A really great first book and a nonstop read. You can read my exclusive interview with the author on the Maine Forest Cafe:  Evan Michael Martin: Author of Sorceress Rising.

Now for something outside of libraries and books.

The IF function applied to life on The Blogworthy,

It was almost immediately that I realised that it took me so long to blog because mentally I had assigned a condition to my life. You must be familiar with the IF function on Microsoft Excel.

IF(logical_test, value_if_true, [value_if_false])

So: =If(Life=Macbook,”blog”,”I have no idea how to blog without one”)

Now, read then add a compliment of your own.

One more, make it a good’un!

Good Morning From ME. Because I too write with light, love first light sunrises and have stood where some of these were taken.

Magenta Morning Memories

When you write with light, one thousand words are silent.
