Philosophy of Life

From Peter Jenkin’s book, Looking for Alaska.

I find it very difficult to write a definition of an acceptable  philosophy of life and equally difficult to be critical of anyone’s.  It seems to me that philosophy changes with the age of the individual, the objective of the person, the exposure to others and the degree of affluence (or poverty) of the one’s involved.

An acceptable philosophy of life?, that is quite existential question. Born, Live, Die. And the philosophy evolves to a certain height, then devolves with age. What is important during youth becomes less so with age.
