Badges of Survival

Glaciers are landlocked icebergs.  If this were an iceberg, only 10-20% would be seen, it’s the remainder, out of sight and below water.  Unseen.  But present.

Scars are like that. We all have some, visible and hidden stories.  So, if you see someone who seems normal, be aware of appearances. There could be, and frequently are, hidden seethings.

In warmer times, the scar melts to insignificance, unnoticeable.

The pains linger, surge,persist, subside.
Yet we still survive, strengthened, thrive.

Scars are only defined memories.

They are not deadly.

We live on.

Glaciers melt.
